Hi Brian,

It is a great beer, full of flavor, it just keeps giving more as you drink it. I have also had some of their other brews too, but that was a while ago. I must revisit and give them a rate my beer score. The ginger ale brew sounds interesting I will take a look at that one. “Down with lager”, strong words my friend. It’s not everyone’s brew, but I have to say that some of the craft breweries are coming up with some decent lagers. I will have to bring some on board, as I haven’t reviewed many.

I drink this beer whenever it is available but have sampled their other brews including King Goblin, a mighty winter pint, Hobgoblin IPA, a great thirst quencher in summer, especially when the bbq is in use and they make several other unusual brews including a ginger ale which isn’t for the faint hearted. Try them and join the Wychwood gang.” Down with lager!”.

Hi Bruce,

I agree it is a great beer and it got a very high Rate My Beer score, but for good reason. I just loved the way all the flavors I talked about in the post continue to build as you drink it. It is a real full bodied gem of a beer.
