Hi Alan,

I love faith both in can and on tap, one of my favorite beers. The Final Straw by Salt is a pale ale I believe and as yet I haven't tried it. However I will put that right as soon as possible.

Thanks for sharing

Yep a great beer and probably the best can of supermarket beer ,but on the same level is Salt “the final straw” the only thing I find is it can be a bit acidic if you drink it regular but yes a class act

In reply to <a href="https://homebarkit.com/is-faith-hazy-pale-ale-any-good/#comment-143">Stuart Evans</a>.

Hi Stuart,

I completely agree with you, I love Faith it is one of my favorite craft beers in can or on tap. Interesting about the different yeast used for the can and cask versions. I bet it is great to visit the refectory in both Leeds and Manchester. The one in Leeds is above the first brewery in the old flax store I believe, so cool.

Using Timothy Taylors yeast is probably why they have Landlord on, which is a lovely pint, although it has been a long time since I have enjoyed a pint of Landord.

Cheers

I think Faith is the best supermarket fridge filler you can get. The canned version is made Mitch US-05, but on cask they use West Yorkshire Ale yeast (Timothy Taylor's); so it finishes slightly more bodied and softer. Visiting their refectory in Leeds or Manchester, you can get it on keg or cask and they also have Landlord on permanently.
