Hi Bill & Doug,

I would definitely rate Warsteiner on a higher level than Heineken, it has more depth than the big H. However although it is a decent beer, for me it lacked a little something, I just expected more from it. I would like to try it on tap though in Germany, I reckon it might just change my mind.

Thanks for the recommendation of Warsteiner Brewers Gold, I will look out for this one and review it soon.

Warsteiner is the best cleanest purest brew money can buy.
Straight from Germany not licensed and brewed elsewhere.
Warsteiner Brewers Gold is excellent

Hi Stan,

While I agree it will be better on draught and in the glass designed for it. Having the right glass for every beer out there will not only cost a fortune, but I will need a warehouse to store them in. Next time I get to Germany I will be sure to try it, maybe its a bit like Guinness, many say its best when served in Dublin.

Good, better served on draught and in the proper Warsteiner glass if you are going to judge this beer. Taken from a bottle and putting it in any pint glass doesn’t cut it for me. Consumed this in Germany and believe me it’s a decent brew.

An excellent beer but the glasses we are now supplied with are nasty
It is not an English beer I just hope their does not go the same way

Hi Garavon,

I think it is probably a popular beer all around the world, and it is a good beer. However I think I expected too much from this beer, it just didn’t deliver everything I wanted. Having said that, the bitter ending is decent.

It is a good beer, but for some reason I was expecting more from it, I don’t know why. Anyway I think your rating it pretty much in the right area. That is a big increase in price, a 40% rise is crazy.
