Brew By Numbers

Brew By Numbers was founded in 2011 by Tom Hutchings and Dave Seymour. The pair met on a climbing tour in Asia while travelling around the world.

They spent time together in Australia and New Zealand where they were exposed to craft beer for the first time. I think it is safe to say they were impressed by the craft beer they drank during this time.

After returning back to the UK in 2010, the craft beer bug was in them and they teamed up to form a microbrewery.

Brew By Numbers was born setting up in a railway arch in Bermondsey, London. The idea was to be experimental with beer brewing small batches and then splitting them to work the two halves seperately.

Each beer has a number representing its style and ingredients, brewing by numbers. The brewery went on to set up new premises in Morden Wharf, Greenwich, London to expand its brewing operation.

Each location has its own tap room space, the one in Greenwich with a nice outside space on the edge of the River Thames.

This page will feature any beer from BBNo that I get to try, the list will grow over time.
