S. A. Brain & Co is a brewery in the heart of Wales UK. It started life way back in 1882, founded by Samuel Arthur Brain and his uncle Joseph Benjamin Brain.
Together they bought an Old Brewery in the center of Cardiff. After many years a move took them to another location in Cardiff. A bigger site with more brewing output. Along the way they have acquired many pubs with a figure quoted as 250 plus.
In recent years they have sold most of the pubs off and moved premises again to a new site known as the Dragon Brewery. The brewery is still in the hands of the same family and continues to be popular throughout Wales.
On this page will be listed the beers that I have tried from Brains. The list will grow over time as I get to try more.
