Oakham Ales was started in 1993 by John Wood in Rutland, England. As an avid home brewer John decided to start a small brewery after he was made Redundant from his job.
After a few years the brewery moved and the brewing continued with John Bryan. The brewery have always been interested in exploring with different hops, and this stands out in their beers.
