Purple Moose Brewery started life in 2005 located in Porthmadog, Gwynedd, North West Wales. Lawrence Washington is the man behind the brewery.
The passion to start the brewery came from his love of brewing beer at home in the late nineties. Initially the micro brewery had a modest 10 barrel brew system.
However expansion soon found the brewery with a 40 barrel brewing system. And a growing following and demand for their beers.
Which carries a large range with a good core selection as well as a craft beer collection too.
18 years on and the brewery has its own shop, a brewery tap, The Australia pub and The Station Inn, which is a converted railway station.
An interesting brewery with an exciting range of beers. On this page I will feature any Purple Moose beers I get to try. The list will grow over time.
