Ægir Bryggeri or Aegir Brewery was founded in 2004 by Evan Lewis from the US and Aud Melås from Norway. The brewery is located in a brewpub called Flåmsbrygga or Flåms Bridge.
Located in Flåms, Norway it is an exciting brewery that produces an array of beers. From traditional beers, craft beers to some rather wacky beers.
The brewers are keen on detail and using the best ingredients to produce some great beer. Also keen on pairing their beer with food they serve at the brewpub.
Evan Lewis started his brewing career in the 1980’s as a keen home brewer. Evan and his wife Aud Melås lived in the US, but when the opportunity came up to buy what was then a restaurant Furukroa. They upped sticks and move to Norway.
The rest is history and the beer keeps flowing from this innovative and exciting brewery.
