The family brewery Huyghe dates back to 1906 when Leon Huyghe purchased a brewery in Melle, Belgium. Brewing on the site dates back to 1654, but the Huyghe family didn’t take over until 1906.
The brewery didn’t take on the Huyghe name until 1938 and has gone through several expansions since. Including acquiring several smaller Belgian breweries along the way too.
The most popular beer from the brewery is the Delirium Tremens beer, a strong blonde style beer. There is a whole range of Delirium beers, including Delirium Red, Delirium Black and Deliria a beer to celebrate international women’s day.
The brewery also brew several other beer ranges some of which are carried from the breweries they acquired.
