Glamorgan Brewing Co started life in 1994 as a wholesale drinks company with the name Glamorgan Beer Company. Based in Gorslan, Carmarthenshire, Wales it supplied local businesses with beer, wine and spirits.
The founder John Anstee is a craft beer enthusiast, and in 2011 he along with brewer Ian Mason invested in a small brew kit and began experimenting.
The same year under the name Kite Brewery the two launched Cwrw Gorslas a Welsh best bitter. By 2013 they moved to a larger premises and invested in a larger brewing set up.
At the same time they decided on a rebrand and brought the wholesale and brewing business under on name, Glamorgan Brewing Co.
John step back from the day to day running of the business and hand that over to his son Richard Anstee. Richard is one of four directors, but the brewery still remains independent.
On this page I will feature any of the Glamorgan beers I get to try from the decent range this brewery has. The list will grow over time as I work my way through their beers.
