Hogs Back Brewery was founded in 1992 by Tony Stanton-Precious and Martin Zillwood-Hunt. It is located on Manor Farm in the village of Tongham in surrey, England.
Tony stood down and sold his shares to Rupert Thompson who is still one of five directors today. Martin resigned in 2014.
The first beer they brewed was Tongham Tea a traditional English ale, which is still one of their popular beers today.
They make good use of the Fuggle hop which they grow in a hop garden on site.
Their range of beers include traditional ales as well as more modern lager, cider and pale ales. This page will feature all the beers I get to try from Hogs Back. The list will grow over time.
